I remember as a young mother experienced parents telling me to savor every moment with my children. Over and over I would hear the cliche "you will be surprised at how fast time goes by." I recall thinking that I cannot wait until the sleepless nights, the crying, the colic, the fussy eating, the diaper changing and the clinging would come to an end.
Now that my three boys - Garrett, Griffin, and Carson are ages 21, 19 and 13, I think back to when they were babies and it seems as if it truly was only yesterday. I would never have thought that I would say this, but I do miss many of those moments that I had wished away.
I was so thrilled when my husband, Jay, surprised me with a necklace by Sincerely. Wearing their signatures close to my heart every day brings a smile to my face. Their signatures are as unique as their personalities and so distinct from one another. I could not have asked for a better gift.
